Last Autumn I travelled to the beautiful Greve in Chianti region in Tuscany to capture a romantic wedding editorial at ancient winery, Vignamaggio. It had been a long time dream of mine to become a Vignamaggio Wedding Photographer in Tuscany, so when the opportunity arrived, I grabbed it with both hands!

The Italian destination wedding inspiration we created at Vignamaggio, will give you plenty of ideas for your own wedding – from a low key outdoor ceremony in front of the villa’s famous wooden doors, to an intimate wedding meal with sweeping views over the vineyards at sunset. Our Vignamaggio intimate elopement, was very much inspired by the natural beauty of the Tuscany and this rustic wedding venue.

The colour scheme we chose included muted greens, nudes and greys, complementing the villa beautifully. To match the estate’s old world charm, our couple arrived in style, in a silver vintage wedding car, adorned with olive branches. Bathed in late afternoon sun I created ethereal portraits of our Italian bride and groom, enjoying Vignamaggio’s opulent gardens and the elegant dinner table created by Weddings by Silke. This beautiful love story was featured on the pages of You & Your Wedding Magazine and I am proud to now share it on my own blog.
