When Jen & Tim booked me to be their La Leotardie Wedding Photographer in France, I was over the moon. They were planning a French Tropical Chic themed celebration, complete with Frosé Granitas, tropical floral design and the wonderful Ellie Sax in person! The day was a feast for the eyes. Their relaxed outdoor ceremony took place under the trees, overlooking the dovecote (Le Pigonnier), now used as the honeymoon suite. After being showered in confetti, Jen & Tim led their guests back to the old-style French country house, dancing down the aisle to Ellie’s relaxed Ibiza saxophone tones. This was a fun surprise for their guests and I loved capturing their reactions!

La Leotardie Wedding Photographer:
Jen and Tim wanted to make their destination wedding as special as they could for their guests. From the live music, to the gorgeous outdoor lounge areas, to delicious canapes and breathtaking floral design. I overheard so many “oohs” and “aaahs” from guests relaxing in the French summer sun! As the sun set over Le Pigonnier at La Leotardie, the scene was set for their outdoor wedding dinner. Long banquet style tables awaited their guests and with stunning overhead festoon lighting and colourful tassel lamp shades, the setting really did have an Ibiza beach club feel to it. The styling was relaxed, yet bold and colourful – exactly what Jen & Tim wanted for their Tropical Chic wedding in France.

After dinner I took the happy couple away for their golden hour portraits and La Leotardie didn’t dissapoint. Bathed in a golden glow with Le Pigonnier as backdrop, Jen & Tim enjoyed a gorgeous glass of wine and each other’s company. Their first dance took place under the stars and glowing festoon lighting and like all good French weddings, a champagne tower was a great way to start the evening festivities. With live music from Bright Lights, the tone was set for an epic party.
