Joanna & Ben booked me to be their luxury marquees wedding photographer in Bristol. We met over a coffee in London and they told me all about their plans. The ceremony took place in a quaint local country church, a short drive from Joanna’s parent’s house. Afterwards, guests were invited back to the house to enjoy canapes and drinks in the garden. A beautiful Abba marquees had been erected, filled with gorgeous floral design by The Rose Shed. The entrance to the marquees, was a show stopper floral arch. More from Rachel: “Creating this huge, natural floral archway around the entrance, filled with large British foliage branches and country garden style blooms, I wanted to create the feel that this arrangement had always been part of the garden surroundings. Summer gladioli, delphiniums and muted hydrangeas are signs of late summer, along with pink snowberries, blousy roses and spray roses. As Somerset marquee wedding flowers go this really is up there with the most pretty weddings I have worked on!”

Above the top table, Rachel designed a hanging floral plank arrangement. With flowers and foliage cascading down, the setting had a wild flower garden feel to it. “The top table sat below this amazing hanging floral plank arrangement and was dressed with low glass urns filled with blowsy country garden style florals. Scented O Hara roses and sweet peas, lace cap hydrangeas offer a natural yet elegant and luxurious feel to the tablescape (tablewear by Couvert). Luxury marquee wedding flowers are our speciality and no marquee wedding is ever quite the same, the blank canvass means you can really go to town on florals to create something super special for your big day!” This most definitely was a luxurious flower-filled English wedding!
