Laura & Sam tied the knot at historic Sudeley Castle & Gardens last summer. When they asked me to be their Sudeley Castle Wedding Photographer, the answer was a resounding yes! They are the sweetest couple and I was excited to share the day with them at such a historic venue!
Sudeley Castle Wedding Photographer:
Sudeley Castle & Gardens have been named as ‘the most romantic place in the Cotswolds’, and we definitely made the most of the gardens & romantic ruins for Laura & Sam’s couple portraits. It was one of those beautiful August days – blue skies, a slight breeze and sunny all day. The castle is located on a hilltop, so we were able to make the most of golden hour for beautiful sunset portraits. I can see why couples choose to get married at Sudeley Castle. It’s a stylish, elegant and versatile venue in a remarkable setting. Laura & Sam’s gorgeous wedding was featured in Wedding Venues & Fashion Magazine:
A Cotswolds wedding at Sudeley Castle & Gardens:
St Mary’s Church at Sudeley was the perfect setting for Laura & Sam’s intimate wedding blessing. Steeped in history, the church was restored after the Civil War and boasts the most beautiful stained glass windows. It is definitely one of the most beautiful churches I have worked in! It also happens to be where Queen Katherine Parr lies entombed. She is the only English queen to be buried on private land. If you love rich history, Sudeley Castle is definitely the place to get married! After Laura & Sam’s beautiful blessing, canapes & champagne were served in the gardens and they spent the rest of the afternoon & evening enjoying the unique setting with their guests.
Sudeley Castle Bride & Groom:
I absolutely loved working with Laura & Sam as their Sudeley Castle Wedding Photographer, so it was lovely to receive this feedback from them:
“We’ve shown our closest friends and family the photos and have received so many compliments – my mum thought they were the best wedding photos she’s ever seen (but she is possibly slightly biased)! Honestly we are so happy we chose you as our photographer and it is so lovely to have these timeless photo’s to remember our wedding day for years to come. You made us feel so relaxed on the day – I didn’t think we could look so at ease in photos but you managed to perform miracles, as well as capturing all of the details so perfectly. Thank you for putting in so much preparation – bumping into you doing a recce the day before the wedding, really confirmed to me that we had made the right choice and also for putting in a good 12 hour shift on the big day! And it goes without saying we will be recommending you to all of our friends for their weddings! Laura & Sam
