I love a black-tie wedding. It just adds a certain elegance to the day and Jess & David’s black-tie wedding at Lemore Manor was incredibly stylish, from start to finish. As their Lemore Manor Wedding Photographer, I really enjoyed capturing all the little details, emotions and hilarious speeches! The day started with bridal preparations in the Hen House, after which Jess got into her dress in the main house. Their outdoor ceremony took place in the carefully manicured gardens at Lemore Manor. March Hare Floral Design created a beautiful meadow inspired backdrop for the ceremony and it was the perfect setting for their romantic ceremony.
Lemore Manor Wedding Photographer:
After the ceremony, Jess & David enjoyed canapes and cocktails in the sunshine with their guests. It was a beautiful July summers day and they made the most of the perfect weather. They chose a simple evergreen and grey colour scheme for their wedding style, and Couture Events, styled the tables to perfection. Dinner followed shortly afterwards, with wonderfully emotional & humorous speeches. Over the years, speeches have become one of my favourite things to capture on the wedding day. The candid moments and guest reactions you get from a good speech, are a photographer’s dream!
After dinner I took Jess & David for some sunset portraits around the grounds of Lemore Manor. You really are spoilt for choice at this venue when it comes to couple portrait locations!
An outdoor first dance at Lemore Manor:
Outdoor first dances are not very common at weddings in the UK, so it was a real treat when Jess suggested they have theirs on the terrace outside in the garden at Lemore Manor. With their guests circled around them, Jess & David had their first dance as husband and wife. So romantic! More from this gorgeous wedding soon, for now, here are a few of my favourites from the day.
