On a gorgeous, late September day, Cat & Angus tied the knot at High Billinghurst Farm, in Surrey. It was an absolute pleasure to be their High Billinghurst Farm Wedding Photographer and it couldn’t have been a more perfect day. The farm is a popular wedding venue – The Body Coach, Joe Wicks got married himself at the venue in June 2019. Blessed with glorious sunshine all day, the farm was the perfect setting for their relaxed wedding party. Flawlessly coordinated by Pete and the team from Kalm Kitchen, everything ran like clock work – this was afterall a very special occasion, with one of Kalm Kitchen’s own, tying the knot! High Billinghurst Farm Wedding Photographer:
Having spent some time with Cat & Angus and little Cockapoo, Peanut a few weeks before the wedding (during their engagement session), I was excited to see all the planning & details come together on the day. I loved the jewel-toned, luxurious Autumnal wedding theme they chose, and made a point of capturing all the little details Cat had lovingly designed for the big day. Kate Avery worked her magic with gorgeous floral design – from the bouquets to the show-stopper Moongate arch, used for the ceremony and later as a photobooth backdrop in the Elizabethan Room! The tables looked stunning – muted greys and rich ruby reds, blending beautifully with deep pinks and plums. Bronzey gold baby pumpkins and sliced figs added an elegant finishing touch – a true feast for the eyes!
A late Summer wedding celebration at High Billinghurst Farm:
After their beautiful ceremony, at which Peanut stole the show as ring bearer, the rest of the afternoon was spent enjoying the sunshine, sipping cocktails and enjoying scrumptious Kalm Kitchen canapes. Cat & Angus treated their guests to an outdoor Gold Patisserie Bar, filled with delicious treats, including Chocolate Mess, Blackberry & Blueberry cheesecake, Banana Mess and more. Needless to say, the guests loved it! After the speeches, we went for a sunset stroll, catching the last of the golden sunlight before the evening party started. This was the perfect time for Cat & Angus to have a few moments to themselves, after the beautiful and emotional speeches. With a fantastic band booked, the dance floor was packed most of the evening – even little Peanut made an appearance on the dance floor!
What a day! Thank you for trusting us to capture your amazing wedding day Cat & Angus. We wish you all the love and happiness in the world!
“Anneli, you’re a gem and a true professional besides being an amazing photographer. Thank you.”
Peanut was racing around the field at this point, literally leaping into the air. Maybe the romance was too much for her!
