Puglia destination wedding photographer.
If you’re reading this, chances are you love Puglia as much as I do. My first trip to this region of Italy took place in 2019 when I joined a group of wonderful international photographers at Adovasio workshop. Hosted at one of the most beautiful masserias in Puglia (Masseria Montenapoleone), I was excited to explore the region, capturing the work of some of the most talented wedding designers in the world. If you’re a bride planning a destination wedding in Italy, make sure you read this blog post and then click here for modern & romantic wedding inspiration in Puglia by Catherine Bradfield and here for Joy Proctor intimate wedding design at Masseria Montenapoleone. These blog posts are filled with wonderful intimate wedding ideas and I would love to work with you as your Puglia destination wedding photographer, so get in touch!
Puglia destination wedding photographer:
The first part of this blog post is dedicated to the beautiful, white-washed old town of Ostuni. Set atop a hill, the city boasts gorgeous views over the countryside and is the perfect place to explore the narrow cobbled streets before enjoying an aperitivo at one of the quaint cafes. With the nearest beach only 8km away, I highly recommend spending at least one night in the city before continuing with your Puglia adventure.
Wedding ideas for your intimate wedding in Puglia:
I loved the fact that the three stylists we worked with at the workshop, created such unique intimate wedding concepts. Each one complemented & contrasted with the traditional Puglia landscape so well. It reinforces the idea that every bride can truly have a unique wedding and that you don’t just have to follow the wedding trends each year. With beautiful sunsets each evening, we were able to capture the details during golden hour. If you follow my work, you’ll know how much I love shooting at dusk and what a difference it makes to photography.
Modern, fashion-inspired intimate wedding ideas:
Air by Penny from Tigerlily Weddings was a dream to capture. Showcasing various dresses and a completely white micro-wedding table, the masseria setting was the perfect contrasting backdrop for this very clean & minimalistic wedding look. If you’re looking for wedding gown inspiration, look no further than this blog post – my favourite gown was the Katya Katya creation you can see below, with statement earrings by Decolove.
