Italy is by far my favourite destination wedding location in the world and I can’t wait to head back as soon as Covid-19 travel restrictions lift. Over the last 10 years I have shot many editorials and weddings in this beautiful country, so I was really excited to visit southern Italy for the first time in 2019. I highly recommend Puglia if you’ve never made it this far south and if you’re getting married here – I’m your Masseria Montenapoleone wedding photographer!
Masseria Montenapoleone destination wedding photographer:
After spending the first night of my trip in Ostuni, I made the short drive to Masseria Montenapoleone where I would spend the next few nights attending Adovasio workshop for luxury destination wedding photographers. I came away from my time in Puglia with new friends, wonderful memories and a collection of beautiful images to inspire brides planning a destination wedding in Puglia.
Wedding ideas for your intimate wedding in Puglia:
For couples who love the southern region of Italy, the key to getting married here is to make the most of the setting. Masseria Montenapoleone is the perfect venue for a destination wedding weekend. Whether you’re planning a micro-wedding or a larger celebration, the masseria has countless areas where your ceremony, aperitivo, dinner and party can take place.
Masseria Montenapoleone wedding photographer:
I had the opportunity to capture three gorgeous destination wedding stories, created by three hugely talented stylists. Below are some of my favourite captures from the timeless & intimate wedding story created by Joy Proctor. I’m sure you’ll agree that the simplicity & warmth of the design complements the setting perfectly. Joy created a showstopper wedding ceremony setting, with a floral meadow path leading off into the sunset (literally)! The intimate wedding table incorporated soft yellows, pinks and blues with adorable monogrammed napkins at each place setting and handmade place cards to welcome each guest. With the sun setting beneath the olive trees, I was in my element. Joy had designed the perfect destination wedding dinner in one of the most beautiful landscapes on earth.
A blue wedding dress for brides who love colour:
The Elizabeth Dye dress our bride wore was an absolute show-stopper and the way it moved in the late summer sun, was a Puglia destination wedding photographer’s dream. With gorgeous statement earrings by Twigs & Honey, hair & make up by Alessandro Mancino and a pair of Bella Bella shoes (customised by Joy), the look was complete.
