Looking back at the gorgeous weddings I photographed last year, I’m getting excited about 2017. My first wedding for the year will be taking place at the Bingham Hotel in Richmond next week and I can’t wait to capture it. Winter weddings can be tricky to photograph, but I love the soft light and cosines they bring, and how couples who choose to marry in winter embrace the season. Almost exactly a year on from Jane & James’ city wedding, I’m happy to finally share some of my favourite images from the day. Renowned UK wedding blog – Love My Dress kindly featured their wedding last year (click here to read the feature) and it was lovely hearing from Jane & James, sharing their thoughts on the day. I was over the moon when they chose me to be their Corinthia Hotel London Wedding Photographer.
Corinthia Hotel London Wedding Photographer:
Their winter wedding included a host of very talented wedding suppliers. I had the pleasure of working with amazing Alex (The Bijou Bride) for the first time and enjoyed the experience so much! She made sure the entire day ran smoothly and that despite the freezing cold, guests stayed warm between the church ceremony and the reception at The Corinthia. I always enjoy working with wedding planners and coordinators who make my job easier and I really hope Alex and I get to work together again soon. The Corinthia Hotel is the perfect venue if you’re planning a luxury London wedding and the ballroom is absolutely beautiful. Jane & James’ wedding style relied heavily on beautiful floral design and they chose talented florist Paula Rooney who created breath-taking centerpieces for the tables (making the most of the high ceilings) as well as the most divine flowering tree escort card table which greeted guests in the entrance hall. Paula is a true genius when it comes to designing “wow-factor” centerpieces and I loved capturing every little detail she created.
Luxury Wedding Photography at The Corinthia Hotel London:
Jane looked stunning in an elegant Jesus Peiro wedding gown from Morgan Davies Bridal and I’m glad we had time in the morning to brave the wind and cold for a quick bridal party photo on the terrace of The Royal Penthouse, overlooking London and The Thames. Incredible views! Jane & James had a beautiful Catholic church ceremony and guests were transported back to The Corinthia in a vintage Routemaster bus, where they were treated to delicious canapes and champagne.
Below are just a few of my favourites from their beautiful winter wedding. Jane & James, happy (nearly) one year anniversary. It was such a pleasure capturing your wedding! Shall we do it all again? ;-) Click here for more London weddings.
I absolutely loved Jane’s gorgeous wedding bouquet, created by Paula Rooney. Perfect match for her Jimmy Choos.
