Kriszta & Ray tied the knot at Great Fosters last winter and we couldn’t have had a more perfect day for the wedding. The sun was out all day long which meant that even though it was freezing, we could make the most of the gorgeous landscape gardens at Great Fosters.
I loved doing Kriszta & Ray’s laid-back London engagement shoot in summer, knowing that their wedding day would be very grande and wintery. I always encourage couples to have a completely different setting for the Engagement Shoot, than they have for the wedding. That way you end up with two sets of gorgeous portraits, both with a completely different feel to them.
Kriszta looked every bit the glowing bride and her lace wedding gown by Charlotte Balbier was just gorgeous. A soft faux fur Bolero kept her warm during the outdoor golden hour portrait session. Great Fosters is one of the oldest and most beautiful country hotels in Surrey and the perfect setting for an intimate winter wedding. With the smell of open log fires and twinkling Christmas lights, Kriszta’s dream of having an intimate and festive wedding with lots of candle light became a reality.
I love shooting intimate weddings and with only 55 of their closest friends & family members celebrating the day with them, you really could feel the love all around.
I’ve chosen a few of my favourites from the day and hope you enjoy the post. Kriszta & Ray, congrats on expecting your first baby and thanks again for inviting me to share the day with you.
