A sweet coastal wedding in Bosham.

Carys & Jack tied the knot this past Summer in Bosham – a picturesque village in Chichester, West Sussex. The day had a wonderfully homespun feel to it, with the church only a short drive away from her parent’s lovely home, where they had the wedding reception. Bosham is a beautiful village with quaint little houses lining the main street leading to the meadow beyond the church. The wedding theme itself was relaxed and elegant, inspired by the coastal location, with blue & slate tones throughout – from Carys’ gorgeous bouquet to the bunting in the marquees and their wedding stationery. Everything tied together perfectly to create a pretty coastal wedding celebration.

I joined the girls in the morning where they were getting ready over a glass of champagne at the house. I don’t think Carys could have chosen a more perfect wedding dress. Her Igartua gown by Pronovias with tulle, lace and crystal beading looked like it had been created just for her and really matched the wedding’s romantic coastal feel.

After the church service, we strolled down the lane to Bosham meadow for some photos overlooking the quay while the guests walked back to the house. A marquees in the garden created an intimate setting for the reception and guests enjoyed drinks & canapes to the sounds of Johnny B – a very talented musician. The rest of the afternoon flew by and after speeches a great three course meal and a very romantic first dance, I left Carys & Jack to party the night away with their guests.

This was such a lovely wedding to shoot and I’m glad to have discovered another pretty English coastal village! Carys & Jack, I hope you’re enjoying married life. Thank you for inviting me to capture the day for you, I wish you all the love and happiness in the world.
