As we head into winter, I’d like to share this Autumn inspired lifestyle shoot I worked on for the launch of the brand new B.LOVED blog and B.LOVED Lifestyle. Styled by Louise, the concept was titled “The Romance of Fall” and incorporated a host of very talented suppliers. Alongside wedding photography, I plan to focus more on lifestyle & editorial photography in the next year so this shoot was right up my street!
We start with our two gorgeous models Katja & Ellen, rocking gorgeous frocks by Maids to Measure, paired up with pretty knits and statement necklaces. Southend Barns was the setting for the shoot and I liked the fact that I had the opportunity to incorporate both rustic, Autumn-esque exteriors into the shoot, as well as a very modern & minimalist indoor setting for the dinner table setting.
Moving away from an overly warm Autumn feel, the shoot showcases more ‘toned down’ greys, dusky pinks and golds. If you’re planning a contemporary, but still cosy Autumn dinner party, this shoot is packed full of ideas – from a gorgeous table centerpiece (which you can learn to make yourself here) for your table, to a gorgeous Autumn make up look (tutorial by Ana Ospina here) to rock at your party!
Enjoy the shoot and head over to B.LOVED to read more about The Romance of Fall! Full list of suppliers at the end of the post.
