Sam & Gav’s summer wedding in Devon was a relaxed countryside affair with a military slant. They tied the knot in a beautiful little church in Talaton, Devon (with the funniest vicar I’ve ever met) and then had their wedding reception at the The Deer Park Country House Hotel in Honiton, just a short drive away. With perfect weather, the guests soaked up the gorgeous sunshine all day long, relaxing on the patio and playing croquet on the lawn – quintessentially English! :-) I loved the little details Sam & Gav had come up with for their countryside wedding – especially the little Devon cider bottle wedding favours, vintage sweets inspired table plan, sweets on the tables in jam jars and the fun photo booth. Everyone seemed to be having an amazing time and Sam & Gav didn’t stop smiling for a second. We saved their couple portraits for the ‘golden hour’ just before sunset and made the most of the beautiful Devon countryside in the gorgeous light – perfect for beautifully soft & romantic photos.
Sam & Gav, congratulations on your glorious Devon wedding. Enjoy your photos – it was an absolute pleasure shooting your Engagement Shoot & wedding and I wish you all the love and happiness in the world!
