When I arrived at Blake Hall on the morning of the wedding, Matt & the guys were decorating the barn, adding loads of special touches for the guests to enjoy. Draped from the wooden beams of the barn, were hundreds of fairy lights, setting the tone for what would truly be a magical day. Sarah and the girls were getting ready at her parent’s house a short drive away and the morning was filled with lots of excited laughter, chatter and plenty of ‘oohs’ and ‘aahs’ when Sarah unveiled her Maggie Sottero wedding gown. I love a dress with pockets and a wedding dress with pockets is even better! Along with a gorgeous pair of Roland Cartier heels and her green, white and gold bouquet, beautiful Sarah was set to take Matt’s breath away.
I’ve shot a wedding at St Germain, Bobbingworth Church before and it doesn’t get any more picturesque than this. Matt and the guys scrubbed up very nicely for their portraits before the ceremony and before we knew it, the guests were arriving from Blake Hall on the Red Routemaster Bus. After a beautiful ceremony, Matt & Sarah joined their guests for a fun afternoon of crazy golf followed by their wedding breakfast in the barn where twinkling fairy lights, pom poms and good music welcomed them.
Matt & Sarah, thank you for inviting me to share your wonderful day with you. Enjoy married life and stay in touch!
This has to be my favourite best man photo…ever. Go Paul!
