On Tuesday I blogged the first part of Kate & Andy’s romantic couple shoot in Paris. If you missed it check it out here. Today, I’d like to share the second part of the shoot, featuring Kate in a gorgeous lace dress from Maids to Measure, and a beautiful Vintage Blossom Bouquet Sash & Magnolia Blossom Headpiece both from Victoria Mary Vintage. On the second day of our weekend together in Paris, we made our way to the Notre Dame and then on to the Pont de l’Archevêché – the famous bridge which crosses from Notre-Dame Cathedral to the Left Bank of the Seine, covered in “Love Locks” – thousands of padlocks and ribbons, all testimonies of love left there by lovers from all over the world. We then strolled through the flower market just behind the Notre Dame and then jumped on the Metro to make our way to Montmatre – one of my favourite parts of Paris with picturesque cobbled streets and tiny cafes. We ended the day off with a few shots on top of the hill in front of the Sacre Coeur (The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris) overlooking foggy Paris, and then a quick stroll past the colourful Moulin Rouge!
A gorgeous second day of romance, beautiful settings and a chance for Kate & Andy to explore Paris for the first time. Enjoy Part 2 and make sure you pop back later for the final part of the shoot – Part 3, which will be filled with sunshine, macarons and pink peonies. Hop over to b.loved as well to read Louise’s take on Part 2 of our Paris adventure.
Kate looks so pretty in pink and the vintage sash & flower headdress in her hair from Victoria Mary Vintage are just gorgeous. Below is the moment Louise presented Kate & Andy with a little gift – their own little padlock to add their initials to and chain to the bridge! Love their reactions and a really lovely gesture from Louise!
And below is the moment when they throw the key to the padlock into the Seine – it’s part of the tradition and the testimony of their everlasting love for each other you see! If you look closely, you can see the key falling into the river with a litte pink bow tied to it!
And as the rain came, we caught the Metro to Montmatre where we enjoyed lunch & peche beer in the cafe where Amelie (one of my all time favourite fims) was filmed. The shot below is one of my favourites from the afternoon – aren’t these two adorable?
Thanks for stopping by! If you missed Part 1, click here and make sure you check back for Part 3 which will be up at 2pm this afternoon. Here’s one more little behind the scenes shot compliments of Wayne. Au Revoir!
