Ceri and I have known each other for quite a few years. We met in the wedding industry when she was a cake designer. I always relished capturing her beautiful wedding cakes, but also knew from our many chats, that this was not her true passion. Five years later, she is finally doing what she loves, as a brand copywriter for “creatively-minded people in business.” I feel honoured to share this journey with her, and loved her Personal Branding session in Brighton. Ceri had very clear ideas of what she wanted the images to say about her business and her personality, which really helped guide the session. The images complement her new website so well. They tie in with her brand colours beautifully and add personality to the clean design. We referred to her brand design mood-board throughout the session, and it shows.

We handpicked a few cafes and backdrops in Brighton, and some of my favourite images of Ceri, were actually taken through the window of a bustling coffee shop in the heart of The Lanes. From a cheerful stroll through Brighton, to relaxing with coffee & cake, Ceri’s photos are a true reflection of her wonderfully warm personality. Her infectious giggle instantly puts you at ease and I can see why her clients are drawn to her. Spending time with her feels like spending time with an old friend.
