A little over two weeks ago, I met up with Chris & Gemma in North London for their Engagement Shoot. They decided to have their shoot in Belsize Park where they used to live and also got engaged. I really enjoyed our afternoon together, exploring Belsize Mews and getting some shots of Chris & Gemma in the actual spot where they got engaged. I had to laugh when Gemma told me their Engagement story – Chris had been standing at the below notice board in the little square near their house, when she walked up to him, put her arms around him and blissfully unaware, stuck her hand in his back pocket…only to find a ring box with her Engagement ring inside! Chris (after recovering from the shock that his proposal plans had changed slightly) dropped down on one knee there and then and proposed to Gemma who of course said yes! They then spent the rest of the afternoon together on Primrose Hill (where Chris was planning to propose & one of their favourite spots in London) enjoying the view and their newly engaged status.
It’s always wonderful spending time with my couples getting to know them a bit before the wedding and I had a great time with Chris & Gemma whose love for each other is clear as day plus they are so much fun to be around! I’m really looking forward to their wedding at Great Fosters in August this year, which I’m sure will be nothing short of amazing, even though they won’t be impressing me with their cartwheels & shoulder stands again! Chris & Gemma, enjoy your photos and thanks again for inviting me into your lives!
One minute romance and the next cartwheels & standing on shoulders and handstands – love it!
