Back in August 2011 I had the fabulous opportunity of being the “behind the scenes” photographer at the London BRIDE Magazine fashion shoot which took place at The London Eye. This was London BRIDE Magazine’s first ever photo shoot for their 2012 launch edition of the magazine (on sale now in WHSmiths, Martins McColls newsagents and M&S Food Halls in London).
The very fabulous Fiona Kelly was the main photographer for the day. I loved getting shots of Fiona and the rest of the team in action and also got a chance to take a few of my own photos of our two beautiful model brides. Alice’s first look for the day was “vintage bride” and she looked stunning! Here are a few photos of gorgeous Alice in her beautiful vintage wedding dress from Butterfly Vintage Brides, Emmy shoes and flowers from Judith Blacklock. The very talented Rosie Kor did Alice’s hair & make up for this look.
And here are a few behind the scene shots of the ladies at work creating this fabulous vintage look (while sipping coffees from Starbucks of course)! You can see some of the behind the scenes photos featured on London BRIDE’s website and read more about the thinking behind their first ever photo shoot, here.
I’ll be blogging the other two looks; Couture featuring an Ian Stuart Bride creation and Classic featuring a Stephanie Allin dress, from the shoot in the next week or so, so be sure to pop back! If you’d like to check out Fiona’s lovely photos from the shoot, click here.
