A couple of Saturdays ago, I joined husband & wife ”to be’ – Will & Lisa, for a stroll on the beach. They actually live in London but spend almost every weekend in Rye enjoying their cottage, which has become a home away from home – perfect for escaping the hustle & bustle of London town. The drive down to Rye from Leatherhead was such a pleasure and with the beach (Cambersands) only a short drive from the center of Rye, I can definitely see why Lisa & Will spend so much time here! I had such a great time with them on the beach in my flip flops, exploring the sand dunes while soaking up the lovely sunshine! It truly was the perfect setting for a fun, relaxed engagement shoot!
After our beach adventure, Will suggested we take a few photos outside a lovely little church a short drive from Rye. I was quite surprised when we got there….the ancient little church is set literally in the middle of a field, with a river, surrounded by sheep. Beautiful!
Lisa & Will, thank you for sharing your Saturday afternoon with me (and leaving Will’s parents at the cottage to finish building the shed on their own)! I had such a great time and I’m really looking forward to being a part of your wedding at Bilsington Priory in May.
If you’re dropping by the blog, why not leave some love for Lisa & Will and their sun-soaked, blue sky, beach Engagement Shoot!
