A couple of Saturdays ago, I took a drive down to Hurley (near Maidenhead) to have lunch with Tom & Amanda and Tom’s lovely parents. It was a beautiful, sunny afternoon and after lunch I went for a walk around the village with the happy couple for their very informal engagement photos. Hurley is a lovely little village where everyone literally knows each other and you feel right at home! We visited the beautiful church where Tom & Amanda will be tying the knot as well as the gorgeous garden just down the street from Tom’s parents house, where their reception will be held. As with most couples, Tom & Amanda were a little bit nervous about the shoot, but with Amanda’s infectious laugh and both their easygoing personalities, they relaxed in no time and all I had to do was capture the easy moments unfolding between the two of them. Once we really got into the swing of things, they even showed me a few moves from their first dance in the middle of the high street….impressive!
I had a lovely afternooon and I’m really looking forward to the relaxed garden party that will be their wedding in August this year. Tom & Amanda, thank you for inviting me to Hurley for lunch. Enjoy your photos!
