Charles asked Ali to be his wife the day after her 30th birthday, while they were on holiday in Kenya. Having seen a photo of Ali’s face taken at the exact moment Charles proposed, I can say with 100% certainty that Ali & Charles are meant to be, “soulmates” in Ali’s own words. In every single photo that follows, their love for each other is literally blinding and I feel honored to be able to share it with them!
We met up this past weekend at Greenwich Market for their Engagement Shoot. It wasn’t the warmest of afternoons…ok, ok it was freezing, but Ali & Charles were the perfect couple – up for anything and brave enough to even have a wardrobe change – bringing some glamour to the windy afternoon. We started off wandering around the market, before popping into a very ‘posh’ chip shop followed by a a few photos at the National Maritime Museum (before we got chased away!) Ali’s lovely dress in the second part of the shoot is by Two Birds – and ladies, it’s a must have – whether you’re a bridesmaid or not!
You may recognise Ali from the East London Bridal Shoot we did last August, as our “model bride”. Well this time around, it’s the real thing! Ali & Charles are tying the knot in May, in London and I’m really looking forward to their fabulous art deco wedding celebration!
I hope you love these photos as much as I do – if you do, please leave some love for the two “love birds”!
