When Katie & Josh booked me to be their Gaynes Park wedding photographer, I was over the moon. Not only are they an incredibly lovely couple, but Katie’s eye for detail is amazing and I knew their wedding would be styled to perfection! They say that rain on your wedding day is good luck and we had plenty of it on the morning of Katie & Josh’s wedding. Katie’s walk down the outdoor long aisle to the Orangery was a tad wet, but the images of her and her dad braving the rain to get to her future husband, are some of my favourite photos from the day.
A romantic Gaynes Park wedding:
Katie & Josh became husband and wife surrounded by their friends and family in the Orangery, beautifully decorated with flowers by Sweetpea Flowers. For Katie the flowers were one of the most important elements of the wedding and Marianne couldn’t have done a better job! After the ceremony and an epic confetti tunnel, the rain cleared which gave us the opportunity to make the most of the beautiful walled garden at Gaynes Park for photos. We were also blessed with an incredible sunset which completely made up for the wet start to the day!
Gaynes Park Wedding Photographer:
The Barn was beautifully decorated with more flowers and a gorgeous ribbon backdrop behind the main table. Katie had thought of everything – from the pretty floral hoop table plan, down to DIY gold glitter table numbers and a stylish drinks trolley where guests could “Pimp their Prosecco”. All the pastel details came together beautifully. They also had a gorgeous wedding cake table by The Butterlicious Cake Company. A semi naked vanilla sponge with a variety of different flavoured buttercreams, a smaller two tiered chocolate & salted caramel cake and a single tier carrot cake. Why have one cake when you can have three?
You’ve got a pizza my heart:
After the sun had set, the dance floor opened and Katie & Josh partied the night away with their guests. Their evening food was pizzas with ‘You’ve got a pizza my heart’ pizza boxes, which Katie had stenciled herself, with the help of her mum & bridesmaids. This was a such a lovely wedding and I’m so glad Katie & Josh chose me to be their Gaynes Park Wedding Photographer. Their wedding day was featured twice (no wonder!!) – on Rock My Wedding here and also in Perfect Wedding Magazine.
Below are some of my favourite images from the day.
Enjoy!
