Meg & Olly’s gorgeous wedding was recently featured on London Bride (click here for the feature), and it was lovely reliving their fantastic wedding day as their Syon Park Wedding Photographer. This very stylish couple chose Syon Park as the venue for their black-tie wedding and it didn’t disappoint. The breathtaking Great Conservatory, as seen in many a film and television series, was the location for the wedding breakfast – decorated with rich table linen and incredible floral design by Elizabeth Marsh.
An international love story:
I first met Meg & Olly when I did their engagement shoot in London a few years ago, before they moved to Frankfurt (where Olly is from originally). Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised when they got in touch a couple of years later, to let me know that they had moved back to London and wanted me to shoot their wedding!
The Rosewood in London was the setting for Meg’s bridal preparations and the perfect location for such a stylish bride. Meg’s bespoke wedding gown by Angelina Colarusso could not have suited her better, accentuating her gorgeous figure beautifully. The ceremony took place in St. James’s Catholic Church in Marylebone after which a vintage Routemaster bus took the happy couple and their international group of guests, to Syon Park.

Meg & Olly love champagne, so guests were treated to Dom Perignon all evening, paired with the incredible wedding menu, designed by Olly himself (an incredible chef). Meg actually took some inspiration from their love for champagne for the wedding styling & design. She chose a lot of varied gold and champagne hues, and mixed it up with silver mercury glass and hundreds of candles to get that warm glow you see when you look through a glass of bubbly. The wedding breakfast ended with a decadent dessert bar, filled with delicious treats, beautifully displayed by Olly’s team of chefs.
Having lived in Frankfurt and then London for a few years, these two lovebirds are now off to live in New York, which I’m super jealous about! ;-)
