I recently discovered some travel images I had taken on my first visit to Ericeira in Portugal back in 2013. Looking through these, I’m quite excited to be returning to Portugal this coming weekend, to shoot a wedding at Quinta de Sant’Ana in Mafra and to catch up with some of my wonderful Portuguese friends!

 

I lost my heart in Portugal a long time ago and with every visit, I fall a little bit more in love with its incredible hospitality, delicious food & wine and natural beauty. On this trip I stayed in Ericeira, on the western coast of Portugal. This gorgeous fishing community is only about 35 minutes away from Lisbon and it’s slow pace of life & rustic charm, draws you in from the minute you arrive. Cobbled streets, gorgeous beaches, colourful fishing boats and plenty of Portuguese traditional artistic tiles make it a great spot for vibrant travel photography.
