I met up with Spanish couple Monica & Marc last October when I was in Barcelona for a bridal shoot with Esther (Belle & Chic) and Laura (Fueron Felices). I chose the El Born district for the engagement shoot and was very excited to hear that Monica’s Red Toy Poodle would be joining us. Get ready to fall in love with Bruno – he’s super cute! This was my second trip to Barcelona and I loved it even more than the first time I went. With each visit I fall more in love with this vibrant Spanish city and it’s raw energy. I stayed in one of the most fashionable parts of the city – El Born, sandwiched between Via Laietana and Barceloneta, packed with fantastic tapas bars & interesting boutiques. The area itself is very trendy and created a cool urban setting for our shoot. From The Gothic Quarter and El Born, we hopped in a taxi down to the beach for a few portraits around the W Barcelona, popularly known as the Hotel Vela, before sunset.
I really enjoyed spending time with childhood sweethearts, Monica & Marc and I’m looking forward to heading back to Spain in July, to shoot their destination wedding on the Algarve.
