From my first Skype chat with Adam & Lianne, I realised how much I liked this warm, easy-going and very affectionate couple. We clicked instantly and needless to say, I was very excited about shooting their March wedding at one of my favourite wedding venues – The Olde Bell in Hurley. Set in an insanely picturesque little village, The Olde Bell offers couples the use of the cosy Malt House and gardens as well as the beautiful tithe barn across the road. It really is the perfect setting for a relaxed, country wedding day and it was a great fit for Adam & Lianne. They tied the knot at St Mary’s in White Waltham and then jumped into Betsy (Lianne’s 1976 VW Campervan and their wedding car) to make their way back to The Olde Bell.
I loved all the little DIY touches & rustic details they used to style their wedding – from the simple flowers (which Adam & Lianne had sourced themselves from New Covent Garden Flower Market) everywhere, to their DIY wedding stationery, to the wooden table numbers which Adam’s brother had sawed himself, to their AMAZING Victoria Sponge wedding cake, made by their friend Mandy, covered in summer fruits & roses and the white bunting in the barn. Everything came together so well to create the relaxed country wedding reception they wanted and it ended with a very impressive first dance – complete with lifts that would give “Strictly Come Dancing” a run for their money!
Adam and Lianne, it was such a pleasure meeting you both and capturing the day for you. Thank you for making me love my job even more and I wish you a wonderful life together filled with adventure, magic (obviously) and lots of love.
Hi Anneli,
Thank you thank you thank you for our amazing photos!! We absolutely love them!! We settled in with a bottle of champagne late last night and watched through the slide show and looked through the photos quite a few times over. It made us both quite emotional watching our special day unfold in your photos. You captured our day so perfectly and we will be forever grateful. We can’t stop looking at them and we can’t wait to show everyone else!!
Thank you, Lianne and Adam x x x
