Back in August (which feels like a very long time ago now!), Mark & Nicola invited me to capture their wedding day at St Mary’s Whitchurch (the most beautiful little church I’ve ever seen) followed by their reception at Iscoyd Park in Shropshire.
Their relaxed, yet elegant wedding day theme incorporated soft yellows & pinks throughout the decorations with Nicola’s gorgeous wedding bouquet by Passion for Flowers and her bridesmaids looking stunning in their powder yellow bridesmaids dresses. I loved their ‘map of the world’ table plan with their table names being all the countries they’ve traveled to as a couple. With beautiful stationery by Lucy McDonald from Story House (click here to read about thetravel inspired illustrations she did for Nicola & Mark’s menus and table names), their elegant country wedding came together wonderfully! Nicola’s gorgeous Justin Alexander wedding gown was simple and elegant – perfect. For the evening part of the reception, she added a touch of glamour to her wedding look with a gorgeous jeweled belt and sequin clutch bag and we made the most of Iscoyd Park’s amazing bridal suite to capture her evening look!
The entire day was such a pleasure to photograph – Nicola & Mark and their wedding guests welcomed me with open arms and as I watched the happy couple holding each other on the dance floor, following their wonderful first dance, I once again realised how much I love my job. Being invited to share in beautiful days like this one, is such an honour!
Mark & Nicola, congratulations once again on tying the knot and on having such a gorgeous wedding day. I’m really happy to hear that you love your photos as much as I loved taking them. Enjoy married life, it’s awesome (if you haven’t realised that already)! :-)
