A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing my friend, amazing chef & macaron guru – Reshmi in the Anges de Sucre London kitchen. Watching her lovingly prepare a batch of pretty pink macarons from scratch while looking very glam in her white chef jacket, was amazing. Looking through these images, I love how they capture Reshmi’s professionalism & expertise as well as her fun personality, sharp wit & general gorgeousness! If you haven’t tried Anges de Sucre’s macarons, you HAVE to…I repeat you HAVE to make sure you do! Their current signature flavours include Organic Vanilla, Dark Chocolate, Citron, Orange Sunshine, Earl Grey, Caffe Latte and Pistache Vera (seriously yum if you love pistachios). I have shot (and sampled) Anges de Sucre macarons for many a styled shoot over the last year and I’m really excited to be shooting a wedding in April where my lovely bride Jen will be sharing Anges de Sucre macarons with her guests.
So without further ado – here are a few of my favourite images of the very talented Reshmi in action and even a few shots of the very lovely Patrick (Reshmi’s other half) a.k.a “Chief Tasting Officer” and coffee bean fanatic!
Ps. If you too struggle to understand the difference between “macaron” and “macaroon” as I once did – check out Reshmi’s fabulous explanation here. You can also follow the Anges de Sucre blog here.
Here are a few shots of Anges de Sucre in action at the Designer Wedding Show last Autumn – gorgeous stand or what??
