A little wedding industry party – the b.loved tweetup.

A few weeks ago, I went to the b.loved tweetup on South Bank in London. For those who don’t know what a tweetup is, it’s basically a bunch of twitter friends meeting up in person, over some cocktails & cupcakes (or whatever you like)! I love going to networking parties – it’s a great way to meet new wedding suppliers to work with and catch up with industry friends you may not have seen for a while (wedding season can be quite full on). Louise from b.loved weddings organised the tweetup a little while ago to get to know some of the wonderful b.loved friends who have helped it become the wonderful wedding blog it is and also to celebrate b.loved’s 1st birthday.

Over the last year I have had the pleasure of getting to know lovely Louise and have watched the blog go from strength to strength. With it’s strong wedding detail & design focus (coming from Louise’s background in design & great eye for detail), beautiful real wedding features, inspiration boards and styled shoot ideas, b.loved is fast becoming one of the most popular contemporary wedding blogs in the UK. (A big congrats to Louise as well for having one of her recent styled shoots, where she collaborated with other wedding industry specialists, being featured in this month’s issue (July/Aug 2012) of You & Your Wedding!) Here she is looking fab at her party:

The evening was a major success. With yummy cupcakes from GC Couture, name badges for everyone (Louise made these herself!) and goodie bags filled with little gifts from the various suppliers (Victoria Mary Vintage, Ananya Cards, Victoria Fergusson, Wilden BridalCarey Sheffield and myself), Louise pulled her first b.loved event off, with style! Here are a few photos from the evening:
