When we started chatting about a location for Lauren & Ken’s Engagement Shoot, Lauren told me about their shared love for funfairs…needless to say, I got very excited at the idea of doing a couple shoot in such a fun, colourful setting! I started looking online and found the Irvin Roundwood Park Funfair – perfect. From the moment we arrived – the music from the rides & the smell of hot dogs in the air, I felt like a child all over again, overwhelmed by all the pretty colours, so many rides to choose from and the taste of candy floss for the first time in years….until I looked down and realised I was the one holding the camera…darn! Haha!
It was awesome getting shots of Lauren & Ken enjoying one of their shared passions together and yes I did get my chance to go on one of the rides – the Ferris Wheel (which by the way goes a lot faster than I remember)! Lauren & Ken are such a cute couple and I love how they personalities came out at the funfair. I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in Surrey this Sunday during the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Weekend!
