Wow…it’s the 29th of December 2011 and I honestly can’t believe it! This year has been one big whirlwind of fabulous Engagement Shoots, beautiful weddings and meeting so many wonderful people. I am planning to do a seperate post with my favourite photo from each wedding I shot this year, but this post is dedicated to all the fantastic Engagement / Couple Shoots and the wonderful couples who made them happen. Being a wedding photographer has to be one of the most fun and rewarding careers in the universe…yes the entire universe! I can’t put into words how much I’ve enjoyed the Engagement and Couple Shoots I’ve done during 2011. Each couple had their own ideas and unique personalities which meant that each and every shoot was different. From a picnic in Richmond Park to milkshakes in Brighton and a leisurely stroll beneath the Jacaranda trees lining the streets of Greenside, Johannesburg, I have had an absolute blast. Looking through the 2011 shoots I love how each couple’s style and personality leap out of the photos and I’ve loved seeing how many of my 2011 couples have showcased their Engagement Shoot photos on their wedding day in some shape or form.
A big thank you to all my 2011 couples for choosing me to share the build up to the wedding day with you and for filling my year with laughs, adventures and so much love.

Philo & Sanjeev tied the knot in Singapore this year and they contacted me to have a “London Landmark” Engagement Shoot a few months before the wedding.
Christelle & Dawid tied the knot in South Africa in February 2011 and they booked me for a post-wedding couple shoot with their beloved dog, Jack, while I was in South Africa in November this year.

Giuseppe & Roberta tied the knot in Italy in December this year and Giuseppe contacted me for a London couple shoot around Portobello Market while Roberta was over from Italy for a visit.
Amy & Steve are actually getting married on the 2nd of January 2012, but we did their Engagement Shoot this year!
