You may remember Terri & David from their very relaxed & quirky Engagement Shoot in Bushy Park earlier this year. Upon arrivial at the flat where Terri was getting ready, I noticed the “How to be a good wife & How to be a good husband” mini books I had given them as a little fun gift at the E Shoot. Turned out my gift actually slotted in quite nicely with the blues and the reds Terri had subtly built into their wedding day theme! Terri’s Couture wedding dress was designed by friends of hers, so incredibly special and it couldn’t have suited her any better – a vision of understated style with her vintage pearl bracelet and Jimmy Choo’s adding some 1920’s style Hollywood glamour. Originally from South Africa, it was lovely to meet Terri’s parents who had flown in for the big day. Also there to help her get ready was her lovely best friend Barbara, who had flown in from Los Angeles and her cousin Shelley. All in all, a very relaxed morning before the wedding!
The venue for the wedding & reception – Soho House, needs no introduction and neither does their chic Roof Deck, with fantastic view over Soho and the tip of Centre Point just about visible over the rooftops. Terri & David made the candle-lit wood panelled dining room their own, with a mixture of gorgeous flowers on the wooden tables, Rococo chocolates for their guests and the beautifully designed table numbers & place settings. An absolute feast to photograph! On the day, we had quite a bit of rain, but luckily it cleared later in the afternoon and with the Roof Deck’s retractable ‘roof’ gone, we had a lot of fun with the mobile photobooth (me with a frame & props) and Terri & David and their guests, danced the night away under the stars (until 3am I believe)!
Terri & David, thank you for letting me share your gorgeous wedding day with you, I wish you all the happiness & love in the world! Enjoy your honeymoon!
If you’re stopping by, please leave Terri & David some love in the comment section at the end of the post.
