Two photographers, Denbies Vineyard and lots of colour!

On a slightly rainy Tuesday afternoon, I met up with the lovely and very talented Fiona Kelly at Denbies Vineyard. Only a 10 minute drive from Leatherhead,  Denbies Wine Estate is located in 265 acres of vines in the heart of the Surrey Hills –  the perfect setting for a wedding, with breathtaking views over Box Hill and the North Downs, not forgetting about the magnificent acres of vines. Couples also have the option of celebrating their wedding in true vineyard style – with pre-reception drinks / wine tasting by candle light in the Denbies cellar….romantic or what?

Armed with our cameras, a few props and ourselves, we took the vineyard by storm, photographing each other while chatting away! I personally love doing shoot swaps (when I have the time) – it’s a great way to get to know photographer friends, while trying out new ideas / poses which could work for client shoots. It also keeps the creative juices flowing and it’s great to get an understanding of how your clients feel when you’re photographing them!  Fee was amazing – both behind the camera, making me feel super at ease and also as a model – the photos below speak for themselves! You would never say this was her first shoot swap, work it girl!

Thanks so much for a lovely afternoon Fee, enjoy your photos! If you’d like to see some of the photos Fiona took of me, head on over to her blog, by clicking here:
