On a gorgeous Saturday afternoon in September, I had the opportunity to second shoot this relaxed countryside wedding in a field with the lovely Rosie Parsons. Clare & Jon had prepared a feast for their guests in a field – complete with a tipi, hog roast, balloons tied to the grass and gorgeous table decorations with vintage teacups & other French inspired details. From the moment we arrived, I knew we were in for a treat. A shabby chic wedding in a field filled with beautiful details & flowers from Scarlet & Violet would be a treat to photograph! Clare’s French lace wedding dress by Delphine Manivet looked gorgeous and her vintage headscarf suited Jon’s navy blue suit & pink tie, perfectly. Clare arrived at the church in a cream VW Campervan with her bridesmaids and after the ceremony we took them for some couple photos in a cornfield behind the church. The guests then made their way to the field where the reception was held and the festivities began! The swing in the garden next to the field was the perfect location for a few more couple photos before the happy couple enjoyed the rest of the day with their guests. Clare & Jon’s wedding really was a ‘countryside dream’ to photograph and I hope you enjoy the photos below as much as I enjoyed taking them!
